You might have had trouble identifying with the characters and story at first because maybe the people live in a different place, speak a different language and even lived at a different time period from you.

But as you watched it, write about how you understood how several of the characters were feeling. Write about how their situation was something that found similar to your life or how the problems they faced were ones that you could see yourself having to suffer. Write about how even though they were very different from you you understood them and you felt an emotional connection with them. Give examples of all that from different points and using different characters and situations from the movie.
