In statistics, how would I ask a question regarding….?

a t-test.

If a researcher were studying the effects of a teaching method on patient learning outcomes, how would the research question need to be worded to use a t-test to test for statistical differences?

I am not asking for anyone to write the question for me, but to explain how I would ask this…Thanks in advance!

Well, sounds like an “independent t-test” between two random groups of students. So word the question as a theorized difference in learning between the two groups that is demonstrated by a significant independent t-test.

you can’t ask them directly so you need to ask them if they have any friends who did this or did that?
