if i take geometry in 8th grade…?
OOOOk.. i am taking geometry in 8th grade right now, i just want to know if i finish geometry…will i be in algebra 2 when i start high school?

If you have already taken algebra 1 then you will be in Algebra 2 but if you took geometry before algebra1 then you will take the first algebra. Plus the good news is you get a credit for the geometry you are taking now.

What the heck!? I took Geometry in sophomore year. Although I changed school in-between middle school and high school and the curriculum was different due to the change of states, you’re jumping two grades ahead of me. I took Algebra I in Freshman, Geometry in Sophomore, Algebra II in Junior, and Pre-Calculus in Senior. In 8th grade, I took Pre-Algebra.

yes you should be your school system in more ahead of ours but yeah either alg 2 or alg2/trig in our school alg2/trig is more advanced then just regular alg 2 but yeah its one of those 2 and goodluck
