I need to write an essay on a scientist…?

Can somebody tell me a scientist that people know about but (s)he’s not too famous like Einstein or Newton? (I need to write about his/her contribution, obstacles and inspiration.)

I’d pick John Dalton, he was amazing and considered one of the 50 most influential scientists in history by one publication. He wrote papers on many varying subjects and he did it all with nothing more than a simple education from a small Quaker school. There is a vast amount of research materials on him and plenty of obstacles and inspirations to discuss as they are well know.

Christopher Copernicus 1473-1543. Look him up on Wikipedia. A phenomenal Polish scientist.

Jack Parsons – not only did he invent the type of solid fuel rockets still used today on the space shuttle, and has the Jet Propulsion Laboratories unofficially named after him (JPL – geddit?), but he was also the top Occultist in the US as the head of Aliester Crowley’s OTO.

You’re certainly not going to find a more interesting subject than that.

properly, scientists have accomplished plenty, attempt to shrink your difficulty: – Write approximately substantial innovations scientists have made to boost the international – Write approximately wither you think of scientists are mandatory in the international of at present – Write some particular scientist: Joule, Watt, Newton, Stephen Hawkings.

The best one to write about is Nikola Tesla. He made awesome contributions and inventions, but his ideas were stolen and used by others and he was ridiculed. He would be a most interesting subject. Google his name and you will find plenty on him.

Edwin Salpeter is well known in the Physics and astronomy fields but not as much to other fields. His contributions will be easy to find but your teachers may not know too much about him already.
