A few weeks passed by and the little fishy was all better.

Then when my friend had us all over one evening for a few beers he says, “Watch the trick my fish can do.” He drops him in the toilet hits the flush and down he goes never to be seen again.

We all look at my friend like he’s a complete idiot. (Which he is by the way.)

And all he says is, “Tah dah!”

Stretch that out to 3 pages, write a moral, and that’s one helluva anecdote.

An anecdote is any funny little story that involves you personally. Surely, there are a lot of funny things that have occurred in your life. Think back to something that happened in your life that made you laugh and just go with the flow.

Clear your mind of any outside influences that might be distracting you and then start writing down whatever comes from inside you.
