on this planet h2o is needed to for all life forms to exist, it is the chemical bond (a lot of people don’t understand that water is a chemical) that ties all life (as well as carbon) together. without any of these life as we know it would not exist. so biochemistry and h2o have a hand in hand working relationship.

All living things need water to survive and operate at a cellular level. Water has EVERYTHING to do with Biochemistry. Most chemical reactions that take place within the cell require water.

Water has everything to do with biochemistry. Its because of water that hydrogen bonding can occur which is crucial to many molecules and reactions in the body. Also, water is a very good solvent and helps in transport of many particles in the body. Its solvent properties (hydrophilic and hydrophobic) helps in giving cells their shape and defining boundaries.
