The DIVIDEND is the number being divided into. For example, you know that 6 divided by 2 is 3. The dividend is the 6.

The QUOTIENT is the answer when you divide. In the above example, 3 is the quotient of 6 and 2.

A FACTOR is a number that divides evenly into another number. The factors of 6 are 1, 2, 3, and 6, because they all go evenly into the 6.

dividend – the first part of a division question (5/4…5 is the dividend cuz its being divided by 4); Quotient – simply the answer to a division problem; Factor – numbers that divide evenly into a certain number (3 and 6 are factors of 18 cuz 3 times 6=18); plz give me best answer!! lol
