3. Is there limits to how many minutes the child can use?

4. Due to the risk of the child loosing a cell phone, should I get a refurbished or a brand new phone?

5. Is cell phone insurance a good thing for children?

6. Can I limit the numbers my child calls to (parents, family, and 911)

7. Should I let my child keep the phone 24/7 or take it away when he/she gets home from school?

8. Is there any restrictions to stopping text messaging after a certain amount have been sent/recieved?

1. Are your children allowed to bring a cell phone into their school? 2. What age should children get a cell phone? 3. Should children under a certian age have cell phones that only call the preset 4-6 number that the parents program? What age? 4. What are the main risks that you see with children having a cell phone? 5. How important is having a cell phone to your child? 6. Are cell phones enabling parents to let their children do things alone that they would not have allowed if they did not have a phone to contact them on? 7. Is the cost of cell phones too high for most families to affor a phone for their children? 8. Are children becoming obsessed with text messaging?

I would ask questions like this:

1) How much money is spent per month on cell phones total in the household?

2) Are there any users of cell phones under the age of 18? If so, what are their ages?

3) What kind of cell phone plan does your family have?

4) Does your cell phone plan allow for texting? If not, how much extra per month is this costing?

5) Do you put any restrictions on your children’s cell phone use? Certain amount of time? Allow only some features to be used (ie: no texting)? Spending limit?

6) Are the cell phones your children use primarily used for communicating with the family or are they allowed free use of the phone to call/text friends?

7) How many cell phones are in use in your family?

8) Do you feel that your cell phone bills are higher than average, average, or below average in comparison to other families?

These are a few to hopefully get you started.

If you’re personally against children having cellphones, than ask a question along the lines, do you think children should have cellphones or do you think cell phones for children are a waste of money? Why or why not? Then you can you ask how cell phones are beneficiary to children excluding personal cases such as parking is horrible at school. And then elaborate more.
