first put the equations into standard form…

2x^2+3x=4 >>>>>>> 2x^2+3x-4=0

therfore a=2 , b=3, c=-4

3x^2=x-7>>>>>>>>> 3x^2-x+7=0

therefore a=3, b= -1, c=7

now use the above info for each question in the quadratic formula…..
