All I did was add the first three scores to get 24.9 and then x was the score she needed for the floor. So you just subtract 24.9 from 34 to get 9.1

And for the problem abouve the symbol should really be > with a line under it. That means greater than or equal to.

add like terms and subtract from 34.0 to come up with 9.1
