Blessing…. If you manage to learn something positive from all of your experiences and apply that information to improving the world and teaching the young then old age is a blessing

Curse…. Hair loss. Dental problems. Painful joints. Sagging butt. and so on and so on. Physically I don’t know anyone who likes to be old.

If only I knew what I know now when I was young enough to make use of it.

Hmmmm, you didn’t do your homework and now you want us to do it for you??

It is the debate between how some things are a double edged sword… they are both good and bad! Let’s talk about a menstrual cycle. It is a blessing because it makes our uterus ready and prepared each month to receive a fertilized egg/embryo and grow a child. It is a curse when we don’t want to be pregnant, but still have to go thru the mess, cramping, inconvenience of the cycle. Sometimes a a pregnancy is unplanned… but then the child is loved very much and grows into a great human being— a true blessing.

Cars are another example. They help us to expediently go from one place to another. They protect us from the elements. BUT, they burn fossil fuels, are hard on the environment, and sometimes crash, which can lead to our death. They also make us hurry, hurry to fit more and more stuff into a day, instead of relaxing and enjoying what’s around us. They are both a curse and blessing.

Hope this helps. 🙂

whilst i became sixteen I objected to the term- my son- which got here from not my father yet an entire stranger. My mate hates being stated as a Chav, i won’t be able to stand the term midsection elderly, it sounds greater like midsection a while ! Geriatric is yet another bone of rivalry ? What approximately Recycled teen or lively Pensioner ? i think of I want Senior Citizen, yet there lower back this is only my own own view. this is the difficulty there are consistently people who prefer to pigeonhole and steriotype everybody, yet everybody is somebody, at each and all ages point and what seems to be the two appropriate to the age attained, the guy could be the two forward or backward to those years. a chum of mine is 40-one yet acts like a 80 12 months old, my mum whilst at 80 acted greater like a youngster, so as that leaves the question why catigorise interior the 1st place? we are all portion of the human race, as long as we don’t come final who cares !!lol!!

It depends on if you were smart earlier in life. If you can retire at 65 or 70 and have some cash, you can travel the world, spend time with friends and family, get into hobbies you were always interested in. On the other hand, if you still have to work full time or just survive off of Social Security, it’s mentally and physically stressful.

Here are a few thoughts:

Old age is a blessing. What is the alternative to getting older? The only alternative is death. We learn from those older and wiser than us. All of us will get older – it is happening every moment. However, our society puts such emphasis on youth and beauty that growing older can be painful.

It is a blessing, to enjoy life minus the complications of relationships, the contentment of being able to relax with peace of mind, I could write a book. This is just a synopsis.

C’mon, you’ve seen old people be wise and be pathetic. Do it yourself.
