i have to write an essay about service, i need a thesis?
the directions say epound on a specific, significant event that exemplifies service, and explain its impact on you. I have an even but i don’t know how to write a thesis for this. it says using a clear thesis statement

well, what’s your significant event?
for example, if you’re event was volunteering at a hospital, your thesis could say something like:
“Volunteering at Suchnsuch Memorial Hospital in 7th grade profoundly influenced my life by teaching me responsibility, compassion, and the value of helping others.”

clear thesis statement means you have ideas in essay listed in thesis. someone should know your entire essay just by the thesis.
ala “by volunteering at my hospital, i learned to appreciate the value of life, gained valuable knowledge from the staff, and understood the finer aspects of patient’s lives.”
make sure it is precise and has all you want to say but also short and concise.
