First of all, don’t use plzzzz….
I don’t agree with censorship on the whole, but sometimes it is justified. For instance, there are times I censor what my son sees and hears. I am his mother, and it’s my responsibility to make sure that what he’s exposed to is appropriate for his age and developmental level.
Censorship of things like porn is also justified. There is absolutely no reason for that to be out in the open.

well people tend to get all bent out of shape because they think we shouldn’t have things in the media censored, like swear words or boobies (like Janet at the Superbowl). Then other people say that the censorship can be justified (that there is a reason for it) because of the fact that children are watching television and could start using those words at too young an age or that they would think it’s okay to go around getting naked in public.
Your homework assignment is asking for your opinion so I won’t get into mine, but hopefully I clarified for you what it was they are asking of you.

i could tell u my opinion but that would be no help to you at all unless im writing the essay for you which im not doing. You’ll find it easier to write an essay on ur own opinion because you will have supporting statements rather than using someone elses opinion

Censorship is ALWAYS justified when used to stifle the ignorant comments pertaining to child molestation. No joke about raping children is funny enough to warrent the outcry of the public about first amendment rights.

I certainly hope that you know the format of an essay. Its very important that you provide examples and evidence to support you argument (thesis statement). Look around but cite your sources if you pull information from the internet. Also, talk to your teacher for the best possible assistance.

well, let’s rephrase the question, if you are an adult, you can see pretty much anything gory and deal with it… but if you have a child, would you like to have them watch a person dying, or someone explode or hurt others? i dont think so, it’s only justified when we (adults) or mature persons can handle it. children should be protected from this kind of stuff until they are ready to face it.
