You need to get the letter on its own.
you need to do the same to one side as to the other (ie. if you add something to one side, you need to add it to the other.)
To get rid of something from the letter’s side, you need to do the opposite.
In example ’28’
15b = 5
b is being multiplied by 15 so to get it on it’s own you need to divide by 15. (15/ 15 = 1)
15b / 15 = 5/15
b = 1/3
when working with negative numbers, just times or divide by the negative number, don’t forget about it.
