Questions about science….?

…About pressure and fluids.

First, why does pressure change with elevation and depth?

Second,Why is air pressure lower at a higher elevation than at a lower elevation?

Third, How do molecules move in fluids?

And last, what causes the pressure exerted by a fluid?

Just wondering. I couldn’t find the answers on Google.

For the first two, the basic causes are the amount of fluid above you, pressing down (that pesky gravity stuff).

The third has a lot of answers. They move in currents dependent on a variety of things, generally related to mass effects of gravity and differing densities due to temperature variances.

Pressure is the end result of Brownian motion and the law of large numbers.

Does that get you near your answers?
