What is your take on people wearing fur and leather? You should find something you’re really compassionate about. I don’t know that much about fashion, but I know that I hate people who wear fur and leather and I think its the tackiest thing in the world. You could read a few fashion magazines and see what’s going on and make a prediction for the next trend in fashion.

First I’d learn HOW to write. Starting sentences with “OK” is not proper usage, neither is “Cuz” in place of “because”, “U” is not the contraction of “You”, and ALWAYS capitalize the personal pronoun “I”. As to what you can write about, find something about fashion that interests you and research it. Mens jewelry usage over time, materials used in fashion, or how social taboos and morality, and the changes therein, have influenced fashion. Change over time is one of the few constants in fashion, picking a current fashion style and tracing it’s origins back over time, the emergence, dissapearance, and re-emergence can reveal much about not only fashion, but history and society themselves.

If you are wanting to talk about the way fashion has changed, what might be interesting is to take a particular item of clothing….say shoes, belts, men’s ties, or even something “weirder” like brassieres, and tell how it was invented, how it has changed through the years, and why. Don’t necessarily concentrate on how the colors changed, but how did the products themselves changed…..for example, why do shoes have “tongues”. What purpose do they serve, etc.

I hope that whatever you write about will have fewer spelling and grammar issues.
Brainstorm first by listing all the ideas in your head onto paper. Start organizing those thoughts then plan your essay. Just scribble your ideas as they enter your mind so you don’t forget them.
There will be a few revisions but that’s what writing is about. Who cares what’s played out? That’s your opinion. If it’s your chosen topic and you have something to say, just say it.

Take a poll/survey. Ask a certain number of classmates (maybe 100) questions about fashion. For example, what is your favorite designer? What article of clothing couldn’t you live without? etc. You might want to only ask girls. Good luck!

How about writing about the current controversy of whether models that are too skinny and unhealthy looking should be banned from fashion shows or not?

Try writing a review of the best dressed man and woman at the Emmy’s. Why they looked good. Or the other side of the spectrum, worst dressed at the Emmy’s.

Easy… Go around the school and take photos of what others at your school are wearing. School is your world. Then go ahead and write about why schoolmates wear these clothes and their practicality and maybe in relation to their faiths as well!
