become a physical therapist and specialize in sports medicine :o)

there is plenty of math…dealing with degrees of movement…measuring and calculating

you do massage and ‘Range of Motion excercises’ to help patients come back from injuries

and there are never a shortage of sports injuries

PT’s….(physical therapists)…also make pretty good money

check into it!

Billy, you need to choose a career that you love a great deal since you will be doing it 40 hours per week for the rest of your life. Also pick one that pays really well because it’s no fun being poor. You are young so you have time to try out several jobs before you settle on one. So keep going with the math. I think it has a strong future. It can be applied to many different fields. Not so with the massage therapy or sports (if you mean a career in professional sports, that is. very hard to come by)

For now, if you are old enough, get a part-time job and start saving at least half of your salary. When you are in your 30’s maybe you will be financially secure and you can afford then to experiment a bit with different careers.

Best wishes.

My cousin is going ot school for equestrian management. To help with some of the expenses associate with college, she got her massage therapy training and license a year or two ago. Maybe you consider something along the lines of a sports training or something. Or massage therapist by day/sports statistician by night.

Sound like you are very confused. I dont think you want to be a massage therapist, because the work is subject to be physically demanding and is often low paid. Visit a career counselor at your school see where math and sports can take you—

You can do all of them. Itd be harder but you can do it. Im going to be doing three things. You might have to spread it out though. Major in what you like the most, what you think you wouldnt mind doing the rest of your life if the other two fail. I cant decide for u. Think about it.

Perhaps you might want to consider Physical Therapy and/orSports Information. Best of luck to you.
