I bought a little yellow book from Walmart for Pre algebra. Will it help?

The book gives help explaining pre algebra skills etc.. It teaches what integers, natural numbers etc is all about. The book then goes into how to do mathematical equations starting with the parenthesis 1st then to the brackets ……

How much help do you think this book is in helping me getting ready to start a pre algebra class? Should I just toss it in the trash or are these little yellow books worth it?

They have them in everything from Spanish to Biology.

When I enrolled in a college Chemistry class, I bought at least six of those little helpful-type books to assist me learning. They really didn’t help much at all. The course text book itself wound up being my primary resource. I worked all of the exercises in the text, even though the teacher only assigned the odd numbered ones. I suggest you do something similar. Work more problems than the teacher assigns and you will be better off than using one of those helpful little books.

I think what he means is… 51) (3(4))^2 Which is the same as (3(4))² I can only do that with 2 though other wise I would do it with the rest for ya. 52) (2a)^3 53) ( 3/4)^ 3 54) (3x 2)^3 55) -(2x 2 y)^ 4 56) ( 2y/5x) ^3 By the way, thanks you won a bet for me. I was betting someone gave you the answer. Wife said no way.

Keep the books, they will help somewhat…they are brief and to the point, they aren’t full of crap you don’t need when you want to know something. Any of those books are worth the small amount of money they want for them. They are great reference and tutor material!
