How to remember a big pile of books?

I need to write summary about certain books but the books are too thick and i dont think i can finish in a night like maybe need about 4 days or so. But i doubt i will remember every details on a book about 400+ pages. so are there any suggestions to remember the books details? Need to read about 7 to 8 thick books..

Take notes, highlight important events, and make cross comparisons between the books as you read them. Some people use web pages like spark-notes, etc… But in my opinion and past experiences you should just read them. Believe me, your paper will be a lot better if you actually read the books. Besides, don’t you feel good after you read a book? I sure do! By the way, next time don’t put your readings off till the last minute, unless you’re a speed reader. I just finished a 400 page book this weekend; it took me about three and a half days. Good luck reading!!!

Take notes, then edit your notes down to significant details. Then write the summaries from your notes. Four days to read 7-8 “thick” books? Good luck.

what i do is after every few chapters, put a piece of paper sticking up with a few little notes about what happened. Just something like” dog died” or “green sweater”. Then after the books are finished, you have a little summary of each one sticking out, already there. Just make a note when you get up to use the restroom or get a snack. No hassle and convenient

These ( STUDY GUIDES ) will give you a summary of the book, character analysis, plot and much more, so that you will be able to answer literary questions.

If all else fails, you’ll have to just use Wikepedia of Cliffs Notes. Good luck =]
