How do you write an equation in standard form?
I have no clue on how to write an equation in standard form. Here’s 2 examples I would really appreciate to be explained and answered: 3x+1 and -2x+2. Please help me out if you can, thanks!

(‘A’ must be positive)
3x = -1
2x = 2
