ughhh

How do you…?

How do you annotate something. I have an assignment to do and this is one of the steps…

Next, annotate the text by highlighting two sentences and adding two comments to the text.

I am so lost. This sucks. Any help would be amazing. 🙂

the word annotate simply means to explain. so basically the question is asking for you to EXPLAIN the highlighted text in your own words, to show that you are understanding the work. comments is similar to annotating, however, comment may include your own personal views which will get you higher marks as it will show that you have a good understanding.

i hope this helps! good luk wiv da assignment !!! xxxx

ps. skwl sucks big tym!!! lolz

“annotate: v. (meaning it’s a verb, an action word): to furnish a literary work with critical commentary or explanatory notes.”

And if you don’t understand any of those words, please look them up now. I’ll give you clues: commentary has to do with comments, and explanatory with explaining.

Okay, you just highlight two sentences in the text that you’d like to either comment on or explain (choose easy ones) and then write down the explanations or comments. Just two, right.

Don’t panic, you’ll be done in no time!

That’s all there is to it. You have annotated a text. Yay!
