Remember order of Operations (PEMDAS)

First do the parenthesis and exponents

(x+1)^2 and (x-2)^2

you get 9(x^2+2x+1) – 25(x^2-4x+4)

expand 9x^2+18x+9-25x^2+100x-100

combine -16x^2+108x-91

this cannot be factored any more

Remember orders: powers first, then multiplication, then addition or subtraction. Break the problem down to that and should work it out fairly easily after that.
