how do u graph the set pionts of 3x + 2y= 0 using intercept?

1. You find the x-intercept by plugging in 0 for y and solving for x.

3x + 2(0) = 0

3x = 0

x = 0

x intercept is (0,0)

2. Find the y-intercept by plugging in 0 for x and solving for y.

3(0) + 2y = 0

2y = 0

y = 0

y intercept is (0,0)

3. Find one more point. You do this by plugging in ANY value(s) for x and finding it’s corresponding y value. ( I chose 2)

3(2) + 2y = 0

6 + 2y = 0

2y = -6

y = -3

plot: (2, -3)

4. Draw the graph with the points you have
