How do i tell my mom that i don’t think i’m ready to go to college?
I was given a great oppurtunity to go to this college before I graduate high school. I recieved my report card and they are the worst grades ever. I really messed up and i dont want to REALLY mess up when moneys on the line. Mom thinks it good for me to start earily because she didnt have an oppurtunity like this. She’s ready to sign the papers and all but i havent brought it up sense my report cart, purposely, not to mention we’re past the date where i can still apply for classes. I’m scared of her reaction. I feel like a failure.

i know what u mean by money on the line and the whole report card thing but ur last grades couldve been from stress. try out the college thing or atleast test out and see if u r ready. if not thats how u can tell ur mom.

ok, first of all your not a failior. just sit her down and say”mom, i know yiu r prob, gonna be really dissapointed when you here this but please hear me out, i ust dont think im ready to go to collage yet, and theres some stuff i also did not tell you its passed date to sign up for classes. i did not tell you because im scared of what yur gonna say.” and say that to her like you really mean it, and keep your eys on her the whole time, and try to sound a little stressed when you say it too. Well it sounds like you had a major case of seniorites. You have to be straight up and go at your own pace. We all mess up from time to time, but it is better to get college started now instead of waiting. You are not a failure.
