first paragraph- have an amazing introduction to make it sound interesting.

second and third- describe your topic and give some facts in detail.

fourth- have a closing and make sure you talked about everything about the topic and give a stating conclusion.

Hint: Use a thesaurus to change simple words to larger variety of voabulary. It makes you sound smarter and makes your essay sound like an “A”. but make sure you can pronounce them first.

Pick your topic. Pick something you know a little about. Brain storm some ideas. Think of a good begining you can start by introducing yourself and the topic. Or a catchy start like this one my daughter used for a speech on the Tititanic…. Close your eyes Imagine your about take the journey of a life time its the year 19** you are about to board the Titatnic……..

A catchy starting line is good. make sure you have a begining middle and ending. Once you have got the ideas down say them out loud remember to talk slowly. Add a joke if the speech is a funny one or if it serious add in facts or ideas that make the listner think. Personal voice is good.

Good luck I have used these ideas to help my daughter achieve high marks in all her speech comps finshing in the top 3 each time and winning many .

I’m not sure it’s a good idea to “write” a speech, because then (a) you will end up reading it, and (b) it will sound like writing and not a speech. A better approach might be to make notes or an outline, to remind you what you want to say and in what order.

If you must “write” a speech, make sure you read it aloud to yourself, and preferably to someone else. This will ensure that the written speech sounds like something you would actually say. Keep it simple, short, and punchy. Use examples, anecdotes, statistics, and quotes to support and illustrate the points you want to make.

There should be an introduction that tells your listeners what your speech will be about … a body that develops your main and secondary ideas … and a conclusion to wrap things up.
