How do I cite handouts from previous years?

I have a summer project and I am allowed to use last year’s handouts, work etc for information except I can’t figure out how to cite it. Should i just put the title of the article, I don’t really have much more than that, I think it’s mostly from a book that we used last year except there’s no way for me to tell what was and what wasn’t?? any ideassssss?

Cite the work by title in the body of the article and in the footnote put a clear citation as to where such can be found. Include the date of the prior year work. If at all possible find the book it came from. If not possible, then cite it as from the prior year work and add a notation that it was not original by the writer of said work. This should suffice.

I hope this helps.

About 98% of murders & shootings in NOLA happen within the illegal drug community (mainly crack cocaine) and the other 2% are “domestic disputes”. That doesn’t make the crimes OK, but the average resident or visitor doesn’t have to worry about it. Other crime in New Orleans is at or below the national average. I would really appreciate it if someone could show me all the “lazy” New Orleans people who are holding out their hands and whining. They are frequently mentioned on YA but I never see them around the city. What I do see is a metro area and a region (more than New Orleans was wrecked by Katrina) that is working to rebuild itself from the worst natural disaster in US history with little help but lots of BS attitude (like your “question”). Regarding aid, Congress in 2006 said about $118 Billion was spent on hurricane relief in 2005. However, that amount was for 5 states and 3 different storms. It also included the money for flood insurance claims (you have to pay for insurance , it isn’t “aid”) and a huge percentage was money the government spent on itself for “operations” (basically an accounting dodge). NOLA was eligible for only a tiny fraction of the $118B and received even less.
