Write each line of the Preamble on separate pieces of paper. Memorize one line at a time. Then practice placing them isn the proper order. Also trying to understand exactly what it means will help you keep it in proper order and remember the words. I will be glad to break the Preamble down for you if you wish and explain the meaning. WOrds are hard to remember if you do not understand the real meaning. email me if you need more help.

Find a copy of “School House Rock – American Rock”. The Preamble song is a catchy one, and makes it REAL easy to learn. That’s how I learned it!

Do it in chunks. you have a few days. Get the first hlaf down pat tonight. Work on the 2nd half tomorrow. Then put the whole thing together on friday.
If you are still stressing then keep breaking it up more. Memorize a few sentences every hour. Just keep going over them and adding more. You will be fine.

Dokta is right, go to the link and watch Schoolhouse Rock. My third grade class had to sing and memorize it and to this day (9 years later) I still have it memorized. It seems goofy but it works!

Easy!
Make a recording of yourself reading it aloud. Put it in an MP3 player or cassette player, and listen to it over and over while you do something else (washing dishes, driving the car, walking, whatever). It sounds stupid, but in a few days you will be reciting it in your sleep!
Think of how many songs you know the words to! You never -tried- to memorize the words, you just listened to the songs a few times and found you’d memorized them.

pick a tune you know and put the preamble words to it – then you can keep track of all the parts and it is less likely you’ll forget it. then you’ll remember it forever…..

just read it over and over again… then eventually, the words will just be repeatedly come into your mind. just like memorizing a song. just keep reading the lyrics and you will be very familiar with it.

Read it, study it, work at it until you know it by heart. Kind of like learning the words to a song. I bet you know lots of songs by heart.
