homework-how many hours is too much?
Is it insane for an 8th grader to have about 2-5 hours of work every night? For them not to get to bed till around eleven then have to get up at 6:00-7?

Its preparing you for high school and then college. Two hours is nothing five hours on the other hand is absurd. You need to keep a record and show your counselor of how much homework each day.

It’s normal.
Check my daily routine at school:
I wake up at 4 A.M., arrive at school at 6:00, Classes start at 7:00, Arrive home at 7: P.M., do homework, and sleep at 1 A.M.. Your child should feel lucky.
