Same with 16.399. We’re rounding to the nearest tenth, and 10 has only one zero, so we want one number after the decimal pont. 16.3 is the same as 16.300, and 16.4 is the same as 16.400. Which one’s closer to 16.399? 16.400, so your answer is 16.4

43.219 to nearest hundredth: Since 5 is the number above which when you round, it goes to the next number, are the last two digits above 50? if so, round up to .300. If not, round down to .200.
