2c(2b -4) – 3b (-5+2c)

that would be = to when we expand it

4cb – 8 -15b – 6cb

then u have to take the numbers or numerals that are similar

so ,

4cb – 6cb – 8 – 15 b

so, when u subtract 4cb from -6bc u will get -2cb

so the answer is

-2cb – 8 – 15b

As far as simplifying goes you now want to combine your like terms in this case. You have 4bc and 6bc….(note I rearranged cb to bc, because you usually want variables in alphabetical order like that). What’s 4bc-6bc? Apart from that it can’t be simplified. You should come up with:

-2bc+15b-8c (Note that again I rearranged the order) Does that help you out?

it should be 4bc – 8c +15b – 6bc

you get the 4bc by multiplying the 2s in the 2b and 2c and multiplying the b and the c, and i trust you know how to get everything else becaause you got it right in the 1st place

you simplify it by putting the like things together and solving

so you put the 4bc and the -6bc together and get -2bc

there is nothing else to simplify, so your answer is…

-2bc + 15b – 8c (always put the 1st letters 1st and two letters together 1st)
