help with these algebra 2 problems!?

Can some one please help me with these problems.

Solve each problem by writting an inequality.

1. the length of a rectangular yard is 50 ft, and its perimeter is less than 170 ft. Describe the width of the yard.

2. A salesperson earns $350 per week plus 10% of her weekly sales. Find the sales necessary for the sales person to earn at least $800 in one week.

Solve each problem by writting a compound inequality.

1. How much must a carpenter cut off a 48-inch board if the length must be 40 ± 0.25 inches?

2. A concrete slab requires between 10 and 12 yd y^3 of concrete. If 2.5 yd^3 of concrete can be poured each hour, how long will it take to pour the slab?

well

number one would be :

you take the premiter, and subtract the length twice, which gives you 70. then you take 70, divide it by two, and you get 35. so, the permiter is LESS than 170, making the width LESS than 35.

number 2:

if the weekly sales equals w,

you would put $350 + .1w is greater than or equal to $800

im sorry i cant help with the last part because im not a hundred percent sure

hope that helps!
