A declaration is stating something that you feel very strongly about.

For the next class you are to write a declaration using the format of the Declaration of Independence.

1. Find something that is very important that would like changed or made better in your house, school, county, state, country or world.

2. Write the Declaration in this format:

Address this to a particular person or group (Dear… )

What “truths” do you believe help support your point. (I believe that …. I believe that …..)

What is your main point. (Because ________, it is imperative that ______.)

List what this person or group has done/not done that goes against your point.

List some steps they should take to make the situation better.
