with any thesis. you have to start with the idea such as:

1. there are so many ugly places to visit.

then you ask a question about that idea..

2. what is the ugliest place in the state of colorado to visit?

Then to get the actual thesis statement, you answer the question.

3. The ugliest place in the state of Colorado to visit is South Park Inn Campground in Fairplay/South Park, Colorado.

Ugly is a very relative term,meaning it means very different things to different people. I am a retired elem teacher and if I can see here, you teacher wants you to be creative “for God’s sake” i would say as I read another yet trite and uncreative paper to grade 🙂 So think of what you really think is ugly, “chewing food with your mouth open”, trash alongside of the road ? What do you usually say to others when you see something ugly whether it be social behavior or physical appearance. It might up your grade if you said your opinion was that it was ugly because for some unknown reason it makes you feel uncomfortable, When in writing you judge, teachers immediately attach this icky behavior back on you and get a bad flavor in their mouth for you. get it? Be a saint for this assignment teachers are so sick of the ick out there today.
