Think about it

1. what is 50% of 30?

2. take that answer and add it to 30 and what do you get?

I can’t tell you the answer though

That’s correct…

30 situps per min= 100%

ok so

45-30=15

15 of 30=50%

add the 100% which is 30

and the 50% which is 15

45=150%

I don’t know any other way to explain but I hope you can understand! I have issues with math so I know how hard it is to understand sometimes…

no this is not correct because 150% of 30 is 45 and the question says “improved” which means to improve by 150% robin would have to do 30+45 which is 75.

just hanging around
look at it this way, say if she did another 30 situps in a minute. Whats the improvement? 0. If she did 60%, its not 200% its a 100. the answer is 50 percent 45-30=15,, 15/30=50

not sure how to show the work on it…but couldnt be correct.

a 150% improvement would mean she did 1 1/2 times as many sit-ups.

example: going from 30 to 60 would be a 100% improvement.

30 to 75 would be a 150% improvement.

Well im not sure if this is right but it would be the way that I would work it out.

The answrs is that it is correct because if u divide the 30 situps by 100 you get 0.3 and if you times the 0.3 by the 150% the answer is 45. I hope this helps you in some way.

Sounds correct to me. It’s 150% because it’s one and a half times the first time.
