So you just need to solve the expression for t?
1. Factor out P on the right side.
A=P(1+rt)
2. Divide both sides by P
(A/P)=1+rt
3. Subtract one from both sides
(A/P)-1=rt
4. Divide both sides by r
([A/P]-1)/r=t
If the way I typed it doesn’t makes sense, here it is in words: A divided by P minus 1, all divided by r equals t.
Hope this helped!

A=P+Prt (divide Pr on all terms)
A/PR = P/PR + T (do any division that can be performed)
A/PR = R + T (subtract off R from each side)
A/PR – R = T
Hope this helps.
