Help! I have no idea what to write…?

Okay, so I already feel like a loser for this, but I really need some help so don’t disregard me for asking this.. I have to write a personal essay. I’ve been thinking about this for days, and have asked just about everyone that is close to me and we can’t think of anything. I’m not involved in sports/clubs/dance/etc. I don’t have a “talent” in anything. I don’t have an overly interesting story to tell (or anything school appropriate) I’m really stuck. It just has to be a personal essay. But I can’t think of anything I could write about. Any ideas would be soooo appreciated, you have no idea. Thank you in advance!

Start out talking about your family

*Childhood memeries are good under this category

Then where you grew up

*Why you loved it, never say you disliked it

Where you went to school

*Why that school has prepared you for higher education

Then what you want to do

*Why that school/job is good for you

Why youl do so good at the place

*How all the things above make you the perfect candidate for the job/school

Well, a personal essay has to be about you – and I have no idea who you are or what you are like, so I can’t be of much help. If you aren’t active in sports, clubs, dance, or have a talent, you are not alone. For everyone who stars in any of those categories, there are hundreds of others who are content to watch. Look at a baseball game. You have 18 people out playing — and thousands watching. Millions if it’s the world series.

So – how do you feel about the world in general? Are you happy with your school? Which grade did you enjoy the most, and why? What songs are your favorites, which groups do you enjoy, and why? Have you ever attended a live theatre performance? What did you think of it? If you could be a movie star, who would you be? If you could star in a TV series, which one would it be?

You can reveal a lot about yourself by the way you look at others, so that might be the way for you to go on this assignment.

Well, if I have to write a personal essay, I usually write about the earliest I can remember, dreams I’ve had, how my sibling annoys me and how my parents can be a pain sometimes. Ask the people around you what they think of you and why, you might get something interesting there. Write about hobbies, favourite food, shows, and how you have changed since you were a kid to now. Talk about your friends and home: have they changed over the years? Talk about yourself: are you cheery, or depressing? Are you easy to get jealous? What do you wis hto happen in the future? Hope I helped =)

Did you ever attempt something that no one, including yourself, thought you could do? It could be baking an apple pie or getting a part-time job. Perhaps you gave up junk food or television for a week, learned enough phrases in a difficult language to wing it or overcame someone’s hostility to you through kindness and patience.

Those types of stories can be interesting if you describe your emotions: your fears that you couldn’t do it, the setbacks you suffered and the pride you felt when you triumphed.

Hope that gives you something to consider. Good luck.

If you don’t have anything to brag at all then write an essay about how you wound up like that begin with your parents, siblings, friends then the things you usually do then wrap it up with the effects of your past actions to your present life.

The easier way to write a personal essay, is to ask yourself several questions. First, What is important to you and why. Who is your favorite person in the world and why. The most important item to write about is to express your love for your parents and religion. To sum it all up write about your first experience with loss and how it changed your life.
