It is not awful. I cannot explain it, but there is something appealing about your voice quality.
Practice is the best teacher. Relax. Slow it down some. Try to sing without critiquing yourself at the same time. Let go and allow it to flow.
For your type of voice, I suggest listening to Ricky Lee Jones. You will hear what I mean.

good job. My only advice is to slow down and focus on clearly pronouncing each sound – you need to work on your harder sounds like “d”.
Just a tip – I know what you are trying to say, but we don’t tend to call total strangers or even friends “dear” (as in “hello dear” in your intro). It’s perfectly acceptable to just say “hello” or “hi”, and just save the “dear” for your husband or boyfriend.
