I’m assuming that you’re omitting that x= 4y and x=-2.

First off, lets tackle the x=-2. Whenever x equals a constant, it’s a vertical line that passes through the x-axis at the numerical point (in this case -2). This is due to the fact that the slope of a line is defined as m= y/x. When there is no y, the slope is 0 and is therefore a vertical line.

As for the first equation, redistribute it into y-intercept for (y=mx+b), then extract your information. The resulting equation will be y= x/4 meaning that the y-intercept is 0 (b=0) and the slope is 1/4.

You’re missing information unless you added a decimal point w/ no digits following. Then the second equation is a contradiction and in the first y=1/4, which you would graph on a number line.
