do i need to add a comma before or after “such as”?

I like playing a lot of different sports such as volleyball, basketball, and football.

There are no fixed rules for punctuation in english grammar, and your sentence works well as it is, though personally, I would put a comma before such as… As a rule, i prefer to put commas into sentences to separate where I would naturally take a breath, but you put them in or leave them out wherever you feel it is necessary.

You need no additional commas in this sentence. Also, try replacing ” a lot” with ” many” or “several”.
