Good way to start out my essay?
I had to do research on my major and write a report about it.
This is the assignement description:
4. Compose a two-page, double-spaced, 12 pt. Times New Roman font typed essay in which
you discuss the following:
a. What did the Counseling Center Career Assessment Inventory results indicate as
your areas of interest?
b. Do these assessment results confirm or contradict your chosen major and career
interests?
c. Summarize the information you found about the career and major researched. Be
sure to answer all the questions required in #3 above. You also should use the
information from the website search in #2 above.
I know that’s vague; I’m going to use all of that for the body. How do I introcuce this?

It’s hard to write about a subject you’re not interested in, so think about the things that you are interested in. Everyone wants a career, so just go on a monologue about your career plans. I’m sure you have something to say about it, and it doesn’t have to start any certain way. Besides, we don’t know what the counselor’s assessment was so we can’t write you a rote beginning you can copy.
