2)If the 2 options are already selected, she has only 2C1+2C2 = 3 possibilities
(and these are CD Player, Sunroof, and CD Player AND sunroof)
if she chooses three options, you are just narrowing it down to a total of nine options. 9^2 = 81. now 81 options are available.
