You either have a terrible teacher or a terrible curriculum and textbook.

A regional climate has no effect on global warming (if global warming exists). Global warming is a worldwide phenomenon; one region cannot have a significant effect.

ALL aspects of an environment affect plants and animals in an ecosystem: the number of competing plants and animals in that environment; the number of predators in that environment; the variety of things to feed on; the water and wind currents that make it possible to leave that environment when survival is difficult, and whether they bring stressful conditions; the efficiency of predators; the nutritional value of plants; the variability of precipitation from year to year; the variability of difficult winter and summer survival-limiting temperatures, year to year; the trends, if there are any, toward growth or shrinkage of the ecosystem and its inhabitants, whether they be natural or manmade trends. The introduction of new foods and poisons, and the effective mitigation of old poisons and decaying organic things by nature’s actions, which depend upon how effective nature’s actions are.

Plants and animals have no difficulties surviving (spelling error in your question) in deserts (spelling error in your question) and tundras IF they are physiologically well suited to those places. Each of those geographical areas is home to hundreds of plants and animals, and in the usual course of things, there is relative stability in populations over time.

Your teacher sounds like he has some issues of his own. A grown man should not “love” an 18yro. Thats just not right. He has a kid fetish. I would strongly advise you against doing anything with him. He probably just wants to get in your pants. Be careful. Sex offenders almost always “bribe” their victims with gifts… seems familiar eh?
