d) the intersection of two spheres is a line

-The length of the altitude to the hypotenuse of a right triangle is 8 meters and one segment of the hypotenuse is 4 meters. Find the length of the other segment.

a) 20

b) 16

c) 12

d) 4 times the square root of 2

-One side of a triangle has a length of 1. What could be the lengths of the other two sides?

a) 4 & 4

b) 3 & 5

c) 1 & 3

d) 6 & 4

-Figure: triangle ABC & triangle ADE share same vertex (A). Segment DE is parallel to segment BC, AD=6, DB=2 and AC=12. Find AE.

a) 9

b) 8

c) 6

d) 4

-What is the HA postulate (not multiple choice)

-Find the fourth proportional to a, b, and c.

a) a+b/c

on the first one b is true, so d must be false.

on the third one, the answer is a because the lenghths of the two shortest sides must be greater than the longest side.

1D the intersection of two spheres is either a circle or a single point(the spheres are just touching each other at one point, B is true imagine balancing a “+”( a plus) on top of a ball the plus has two lines perpendicular to eachother but tangent to the sphere

2B I forgot the name of this theory but when the altititude is drawn you actually form two new similar triangles so their ratios are equal

say that the hypotenuse as two segments a and b

a+b=hypotenesue => b=20-a let altitude = 8

since they are similar triangles a/8=8/b now let b=4 so a will equal 16 when you solve it

3A the difference between any two sides of a triangle cant be longer than the 3rd side otherwise that cant be a triangle (meaning you cant draw a triangle with those lengths as sides, on to paper) only for example you cant draw a triangle with the sides 1,3 and 5

4 IDK I cant form a right shape, did you right the question the right way

5 no clue

6 I dont understand

Photosynthesis converts CO2 and H2O to glucose and oxygen. take a glance on the chemical equation for photosynthesis: 6CO2 + 6H2O ==> C6H12O6 + 6O2 all of us recognize that this technique is pushed by potential from mild by a pigment in vegetation referred to as chlorophyll. O2 is a product, not a reactant.
