What would you expect to see in a blood sample of a person who has
drowned in salt water? Explain in terms of osmosis.

Look up osmosis and see what it is, and about how it occurs between membranes. I am certain once you determine the relative salinity of blood versus sea water you can answer that question. Hope thats enough hint

the cells would shrink because it is trying to keep equilibrium inside and outside of the cell so water would be released from the cell through osmosis to control the concentration of salt
