In 2009 i am going on a trip with my school to china. I have to pay for part of my trip. What are some good fundraising ideas?

Good idea to start early! What you do for your fundraising is important, but so is the message you give to people you are trying to raise money from. If you just say you need money to go on a trip to China, plenty of people would think, “pssh, I’d like to go on a trip too, what makes you so special?”
Instead, explain the purpose of the trip, what group you are going with, what this group does to better the school, the community, the country, the world, whatever the case might be. What you really need to sell is the idea of a good cause, not the candy bar, the raffle ticket, or whatever you choose to do.
