x^2 + y^2 =25

and

(x +2)^2 +y^2=16

IM SOO LOST DONT JUST GIMME AN ANSWER..

This link shows you a point-origin solution to any problem. You can move the origin and you can move a point on the circle in order to change the equation. This should help you analyze the formula.

In question 1, your origin will be zero and your radius will be 5.

In question 2, your origin will be -2,0 and your radius will be 4.

Standard form for circles is (x-a)² + (y-b)² = r² where (a,b) is the center of the circle. So in your first problem

x²+y²=25

(x-0² + (y-0)²=5²

so the center is at (0,0) and the radius is 5

In the second problem you have

(x- -2)²+(y-0)²=4²

so the center is at (-2,0) and the radius is 4
