speed = distance/time

So 800/120=? (Here your answer will be in mi/min, unless you convert the minutes to hours (120/60=2)… then it will be in mph)

240/2.5=? (km/h)

While I could do the math for you, I think that giving you a basis for how to do it will help you in the long run if you run into more problems like that. Good luck, hope that helped.

Use the formula rate(avg. speed) = distance / time

Airplane: 400 m/h 800 miles / 2 hours (2 hours = 120 minutes) = 400 miles per hour

Car: 96 km/h 240 kilometers / 2.5 hours = 96 kilometers per hour

Speed = distance/time

= 800/2 (120/60 = 2 to convert minutes to hours)

= 400 miles/hour

Speed = distance/time

= 240/2.5

= 96 kilometres/hour

speed is measured by distance/time

800miles/ 120 mins ( or 2 hours)

=400 miles per hour (mph)

car 240 Km / 2.5 hrs

=96 Kilometers per Hour (Kph)

very easy, just divide 800 by 120, answer will be in miles, and divide 240 by 150, answer in km’s

there are 1.6 km in a mile.

Miles/Hr = Miles divided by hours and Klm/hr = kilometers divided by hours. Sorry, I won’t do the work for you. You must learn to do the math for yourself.

average speed is just distance/time

so 800miles/120minutes = speed in miles/min

and 240km/2.5hrs = km/hr
