ahh. I suck at math and I have a math project.

How do youfactor out 1+125x^3?

This is similar to Example 14 at the included source link below. You have to recognize that this is the “sum of cubes”…

so….

1 + 125x^3 = *Fits the form of a sum of two cubes

(1)^3 + (5x)^3 = *Binomial is sum of bases

(5x+1)(25x^2 – 5x +1)

*Trinomial is 1st base squared, minus prod. of bases, plus 2nd base squared

My advice to you… is to go to the link below and read all the examples that are worked out. It has EVERY possible polynomial that you would have to factor. If you know how to solve these, then you can solve ANYTHING!!! And rather than stinking at math… you’ll be the pro in your class!!! =)

what is the cube root of 125?

what is the cube root of x^3?
