First divide out the common factor (2)

2(25x^2 – 16)

Then FOIL:

2(5x + 4)(5x – 4)

1.) factor out a 2 and get 2(25x^2-16)

2.) 25x^2-16 is the difference of two squares. Opposites must have been multiplied to get it(5x-4) (5x+4)

3. So, the complete factoring would be 2(5x-4)(5x+4)
