I suggest you spend a few days at the public library reading books about your subject. If you do not know how, a librarian can help you work the card catalog to identify relevant books, then locate them on the shelves.
If I was you, I would skim several different books by different authors, to get their “take” on the contributions he made to certain theory. In your essay be careful to give citations of where you got any facts from … which author’s books.
As for possible themes:
* In his day, what were his contributions to science & how long did it take before his ideas became generally accepted.
* Today, is he looked upon as a major theorist whose views are still believed in, or have they been supplanted by what other replacement theories?
* Do his theories apply to all of humanity, or only to certain religious and secular cultures?
* Are there segments of humanity that his theories apply to, but because of their local beliefs they do not apply his thinking to ghide them?
* Is there an age below which it is inappropriate to expose children to his beliefs? Why?
